Winter wonderland
A cold winter morning, December 22nd 2001.

When we started to live
together in the fall of 2000 little did we know about what would happen in
2001. Everything went perfectly normal until about February... We then
discovered that Hanne was pregnant and we soon started thinking about getting
something bigger to live in. One of the options was to use two of the
apartments in my house, but we (or was it just Hanne...) wanted something
else!
A search for a new home
started! We browsed through endless ads of old and new houses and drove
all across Trondheim and the surrounding areas without finding what we
wanted. We even planned to build a new house at Sveberg in Malvik, but
found the cost to be more than we wanted to spend on a house right now... But it
would have been a fantastic house though... Hmmm!
Then... suddenly out of
nowwhere, when we had almost given up finding anything this summer, we went out
to see a house at Byneset, west of the city. And to the surprise of both
of us... we both liked it! So we went back the next day to have a closer
look, bringing our dads to give us a second opionion, but they also liked
it! Literally we we're sold and the next day we bid for it and a few hours
later, the bid was accepted.
