3 weeks. Flying into Denver, Colorado, visiting relatives in Colorado Springs. Driving from Denver to Seattle across Nebraska, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Oregon and Washington.
On the way west we stopped at Mount Rushmore, Salt Lake City and at the Golden Spike National Historic Site in northern Utah where the east and west met in 1869 driving the final spike into the transcontinental railroad.
Spent a week visiting many relatives in the Seattle area, then drove down to Eugene, Oregon for some more relatives before we started the long drive east towards
Bemidji, Minnesota crossing the endless plains of Montana and North Dakota. The last leg took us to The Twin Cities and Mall of America before we climbed aboard the flight home.
